I remember to this song.

It must have been on the radio.

No MP3's then, nor CD's or casettes.

It took me back close to sixty years ago.

It also reminded me the film, American Graffitti.

I recommend it to anyone who remembers this song.

Haven't been able to post messages here for some time.

March, April and May have been extremely eventful.

And the rest of May, the whole months of June and july are packed with 講演会＋ワークショップ too.

I started to write another book.

Two books and many 講演会＋ワークショップ!

You'd think I have enough on my plate.

But I have a lot more in mind to do yet.

Like redirecting my 講演会＋ワークショップ from 絵＋文字 to 映像＋音.

Will keep me even busier for some time to come.

That was my take on 夕立 とか 台風.

But rain started battering on the roof around midnight today.

It's still banging.

I want to take a walk to Starbucks Kunitachi.

I haven't written a line of my two books for two weeks now.

So many 講演会＋ワークショップ that Powerpoint slides are all I can work on.

It's an interesting time though.

The NPO's 講演会＋ワークショップ is undergoing an overhaul, so to speak.

From 多読 to tadoku, if you like.

Picture books are still very, very important because they can wait.

Anime, TV shows and films don't wait.

They just go on and on forward.

My mother came back from her 体操.

She is ninety-four and still can look after herself.

Her memory has deteriorated at an alarming rate.

It's hard for her to remember some of her grand children.

And yet, she does most things for herself.

One thing she used to do but not any more is cooking.

Amazing she can tolerate my cooking.

I think she's sick and tired of cooking for more than a half century.

That's the only reason I can think of why she can eat what I prepare and not complain.

She doesn't go out at all, either.

But to my family's horror, she does go out once a month or so.

To buy her craft materials at ユザワヤ.

Which is half an hour's walk away inside 立川駅.

My wife and I, as well as her grand children, are wondering when she will forget her way home.

I’ve been watching some game movies on YouTube.

A game movie or a game commentary?

I don’t know what it called.

I don't play games.

It’ll be one of my favorites.

There were many androids in the world.

They worked for human.

One of androids, Markus were making the androids free.

So there were civil war between human and androids.

I don’t know the end of the story.

I have watched over a half of them.

it's more than six hours.

So I don't know if it should be called 'a clip'.

I understand this is sort of 'screen shots' while playing 'Detroit', right?

I didn't know there was anything like this.

I must watch some for my new book.

Should I say Robert Grantham, not Hugh Bonneville?

Robert Grantham is in the drama, Downton Abbey.

He is younger in the movie than him in the drama.

Notting Hill is a 1999 film.

Yes, I have enjoyed Notting Hill many times.

It's one my family's favourites.

There are so many characters in the film.

So I know almost all of them.

I spotted the business person in Downton Abbey instantly.

I was really amazed at the transformation.

From the business man to Lord Grantham!

Downton Abbey is one of my family's favourite too.

We have seen it many times over.

The costumes and the interiors of the castle are veru good.

Its film version is going to be released soon.

I strongly recommend watching the series before going to the theatre.

After watching it, we could talk about it and the series, maybe.

It will be a lot on fun.

This is the first time I watch this.

This film, I mean "Sesami Street" takes me back into I was young.

I watched this video.

There were two guys talking.

A woman was mainly talking her story to a man.

And the man was listening to her.

I should say he interviewed her.

He made this video.

I think I wouldn’t watch it If I don’’t do 多読.

I wonder where 多読 takes me to.

I started to watch the first clip and おもしろい！

I came to myself after ten minutes and stopped right there.

I have to write my book, you know.

I stopped because the girl said there was no discrimination where she was going to 小学校 in a very small community in 茨城県.

Good to know that.

I recommend this clip because it looks like a lighthearted vignette into 'an ordinary life' in Japan.
