Write here. Make mistakes here. :pencil:

Expect no reply. Just write and forget. It will be a great start!

(And if someone replies, that'll be great too!)

Thank you, Sakai-sensei, for making the place to write anything in English!

As soon as I began free writing in English, I noticed how terribly I am afraid of making mistakes. Even if I understand well that making mistakes is not bad and it's okay to misspell or being incorrect in grammar, I cannot help feeling anxious, embarrassed and shameful about it. I read the articles about how to do free writing last night. They said that I should start writing for about 5 minutes without stopping. If I think up no words to fit, it is okay to write only lines until I want to write something again. The important thing is to keep writing or at least trying to keep writing. At the beginning it might be only words that I can think up, but it's better than nothing. I was so encouraged by those articles about free writing.

I'm taking the English Composition Course at Coursera. There are lots of students from all over the world. Some are native English speakers, but there are plenty people whose mother tongue are not English. Although their writing is not correct in grammar sometimes, they write a lot of things fluently with confidence. They are eager to have conversation with others. They don't hesitate for sharing their thoughts. I'm amazed to see them write on Forum or Facebook freely. I'm very happy to be part of this. I'm so excited I'm in the middle of the new type of education. I can feel the time is changing so quickly. I want to thank horimama-san for introducing Coursera.

I watched Christmas at Downton Abbey and Downton Abbey A Journey to the Highlands last night. While watching I found a very interesting thing in it. It was a kind of board game that could talk with the dead. It reminded me of "Kokkuri-san". I loved playing it when I was a child. It was a bit scary but It was fun to ask Kokkuri-san about many things, like who were going out or was anyone there who liked me, etc. I didn't believe Kokkuri-san really existed and doubted someone would move the coin. I was so interested in this British Kokkuri-san that I searched it on Internet and read Wikipedia page. According to Wiki, this is called the Ouija Board. I was surprised I found such a thing in one of the most popular drama. I wonder if it would cause some arguements among the people who are so sensitve to this kind of topics.

Hello natubon-san,
natubon さんが書きました:"it's time for spring cleaning"

Your post reminds me that I have to do spring cleaning too.
Usually Spring holiday is the time for getting rid of old things and rearranging furniture.
There are so many things I have to clear away. I don't know where I should begin.
Well, anyway, I will start cleaning little by little.
Poppleton is one of my favorite series. I love Cynthia Rylant's work.
I have 4 books. Poppleton, Poppletoon and Friends, Poppleton Everyday and Poppleton Forever.
I haven't read Poppleton in Spring. How many Poppleton books are there?
I like the sound of "Poppleton". It sounds fun! It makes me smile.
I like the color. Is it water painting? It is so relaxed and heartwarming.
Oh, I think I will read Poppleton before I start cleaning...

Hello katobushi-san,

I was reading Poppleton series.
I like Grapefruit (Poppleton and Friends) and The Tree (Poppleton Forever).
We need friends to live longer. Even tree needs friends to be healthy.

katobushi さんが書きました:do you know when Poppleton put on his pants ??

He put on his pants when he worked in the garden and hanged wallpaper.
I guess that's because he didn't want to get dirty. Am I right?

Really? You clean your room only once a year?

spring cleaning always brings back the opening of the wind in the willows to me.

I like all seasons meaning twenty-four sub-seasons but if I have to choose one, i say early spring.

im not going to do spring cleaning though.
